		<Abstract>There is need to protect substantial data being transferred via the unsecured channel and big transmission Then different kind of cryptography to enhance the speed and security of the data transmission are developed Such pseudo random sensitivity of such type of chaotic maps make it extensively used in encryption of the images This approach is motivated by researchers and through which we propose an image security technique on the basis of the chaotic tent map along with the SALP Swarm Algorithm SSA It performs a diffusion and a permutation in every round to secure it Data is encrypted and decrypted by using a basic XOR algorithm They were tested with the approaches they offered and analysed for how efficient they are and statistical analyses performed of the pictures to support their efficiency</Abstract>
